Ivor Hughes - Stylist Level 3, Style Director
From owning a men's clothing store to hair stylist, Ivor knows that he must not miss the point of why a guest has chosen to come in. Some guests are looking for a dramatic change reflecting the changing season, others a slight change in their cut and, a little different way to blow dry that begins to lead to a seasonal change.
Ivor loves curly, wavy hair. He believes the greatest challenge to curly and wavy hair is creating a style that can be beautiful while letting the hair be "as it is". His consistent attendance in classes at Sassoon, Aveda and Tony & Guy Academy keep him in tune with the latest trends and techniques.
Ivor has been at La Jolie for seven years. Living in London for 23 years exposed him to the energy and creativity of a vital environment and finds much the same feeling in Princeton. Ivor has noticed how La Jolie attracts new guests with every season feeding off the constant influx of energy into the Princeton community.
